Mitsuko is a skilled and deadly assassin I created in my teenage years. I wanted to recreate her with my current skills. The influence of this character is at the crossings of the Matrix and Crying Freeman.
She is a tattooed Asian/European woman. She is masked, wearing a ninja/samouraï fabric tunic with loose pants for easy and silent movements. She uses a katana and a tanto for silent approach, but when things get complicated, she can count on her Desert Eagle to clean the way ! She wears a yin yang medallion for reasons only her knows !
Her particularity is that she tries to be as silent and discreet as possible, but her missions always end with noisy gunfires and explosions !
Mitsuko
For this illustration, I wanted something like a "just before the action" keyframe.
Mitsuko is a revengefull ninja killer and she has some business to settle with the local mafia group.
To help visualise the character I started with rough sketches and iterations
Clean iterations
I wanted to create at least 2 hyper reallistic illustrations with this character, that's why I chose a modele imported from Daz with a lot of modifications. Rigged in blender to the right pose. I also created all the clothes in Blender.
Scene built with the help of quixel assets and some BMS kit characters.
Tiger tattoo
Japanese tag "No future"
3D modelled katana and tanto
3D modelled desert eagle
3D render scene. It needs a lot of paintover to hide the 3Dish aspect, add more textures, change the light hues and post process the image to make it look more visually appealing.
